Peter Gallagher and Norm Lewis Join Actors Fund Supporters for Annual Jock Duncan Celebri-TEE Golf & Tennis Outing on July 25.
The Actors Fund’s Annual Jock Duncan Celebri-TEE Golf & Tennis Outing will take place on Monday, July 25, 2016 at the historic Knickerbocker Country Club in Tenafly, New Jersey. Attendees will join Golf Chair Peter Gallagher (The O.C., Covert Affairs) and Tennis Chair Norm Lewis (The Gershwins’ Porgy and Bess, Scandal) for summer sport to raise funds in support of The Actors Fund’s Lillian Booth Actors Home.
“I’m proud to continue this annual tradition,” said Peter Gallagher. “It’s an honor to join our guests in giving back to The Actors Fund, an organization that provides so much care for our performing arts and entertainment community.”
The event, now in its sixth year, is named for The Actors Fund’s former treasurer Jock Duncan, who served as a trustee for 13 years. Registration opens at10:30 am, followed by lunch and shotgun start tee off at 12 pm, tennis round robin at 2 pm, and concluding with a cocktail reception, charity auction, dinner and live performances. Robert Creighton (Cagney) and Ernie Sabella (Curtains, Man of La Mancha) are also scheduled to join guests for the day of golf with Peter Gallagher and tennis with Norm Lewis.
“I’m looking forward to meeting new friends and raising funds for a good cause,” said Norm Lewis. “It’s my way of supporting my colleagues in show business who make up this vibrant community of artists at The Actors Fund Home.
