Leisurewear is no longer that casual as Norwegian brand Onepiece introduces their new collection of casual-wear.
The brand was created in Oslo in 2007 when Thomas Adams, Knut Gresvig and Henrik Børke Nørstrud dared to create a fashion that embodied the “art of slacking”. The three Norwegian designers dreamt to combine the comfort of hoodies with sweatpants and inspired by onsies created the entire concept that is Onepiece. Revamping the casual jumpsuit and taking away the childish qualities of typical onsies, Onepiece creates high end “slackerwear” that allows adults to leave the house in style. What was once perhaps scoffed at has now become a global brand with “10 Concept Stores, over 1000 retailers selling in over 100 countries and over 1 million fans worldwide”. But the love for the garb doesn’t end there; Onepiece has grown to be a celebrity staple among Beyonce, Justin Bieber, Gigi and Bella Hadid, and more. With all this publicity the brand has grown and now presents its new collection: CAPSULES.
The collection is for Spring/Summer 2016 and is inspired by cocoons and capsules, taking on an encapsulating quality. The clothes mimic nature’s characteristics that leave people feeling secure and aspire to serve the public multi-purpose pieces. The collection was presented February 2nd and is now available in all stores and also on the official website.
