Over the course of the past year and a half, mental health has looked differently than it has in the past.

In a time of isolation, it was so easy to feel alone and scared within the new world we were living in. As time has gone on lately we’ve been able to get back into the world more often and be face to face with the people we love,  but mental health is still as important as ever, arguably even more important as we transition back into a world that we left behind for so long. Something that so many people have found is that moving our bodies has helped so much, and there are few ways to exercise that are more fun than Zumba.

® classes into charitable initiatives that raise funds and awareness for causes important to our global community. Throughout the month of October, Starting with a donation in honor of all attendees to the World Federation For Mental Health (WFMH), the company will be using their own platform to spread awareness and recourses for mental health worldwide.

On October 7th, we took center stage at Manhattan’s iconic New World Stages to engage in an incredible Zumba workout led by Zumba® instructor Jeimy Bueno. Bueno created an incredible session of moves set to a variety of Broadway and pop music, honoring special guest American singer, songwriter, and actress Katharine McPhee Foster. It was a morning of movement, stories, music, and excitement that would clear anyone’s mind, it truly encompassed the true meaning of what Zumba Love is creating with their mental health campaign
