Chef Katsuya Uechi is the chef and owner of 25 restaurants under the Katsu-ya Group. Katsuya is known for his distinctive style and first-rate execution of high quality dishes. Fun fact? His favourite ingredient to use is tuna because of the various, interesting things that one can do with tuna and sushi!
Chef Dani Garcia is one of Spain’s most internationall renowned chefs. With three Michelin stars as well as the Bib Gourmand under his knife, Dani defines himself as an ‘artisan of flavor.’ That definitely stands true when you eat his delicious dishes that combine the products ofhis land together with the techniques and ingredients of most international dishes, (the roasted organic chicken sandwich from El Pollo Verde was so good).
Chef Masaharu Morimoto is a Japanese chef, best known as an Iron Chef on the Japanese TV cooking show Iron Chef (a spinoff of the American one). His seamless integration of Western and Japanese ingredients has created a signature style that positions him as one of today’s foremost chefs. He also loves pork. Whether it be in the dishes he prepares for others to enjoy or for himsef, it’s all pork pork pork for Chef Morimoto!
Chef Alvin Cailan has risen to become arguably the most high-profile chef in America’s Filipino food movement. He took the food scene by storm when he opened the now-legendary Eggslut in Los Angeles, a foodie cult favorite specializing in affordable but sophisticated egg sandwiches. Chef Alvin has brought the Umami burger to New York City. The potato roll, crispy onions, pickles, american cheese and yellow mustard, together with the meat, make for a mouth watering bite.
Chef Cindy Kruse is an American Pastry Chef and owner of Cindy Lou’s Cookies, a classic All-American Cookie Shop specializing in big, old fashioned seriously delicious cookies. Baked with so much love, truly proving to be cookies that nourish the soul.
