Robert Geller showed his SS16 Menswear Collection on Tuesday, July 14.
His collection was mostly shown in muted tones of gray, charcoal, olive, navy, and black. The pieces were laid back with relaxed tailoring. Significant attention was placed on the waist. Geller either used thin belts to break up monotone shirts and bottom pairings or added exaggerated high waists to the pants. He added ropes to the collection by using them as handles on the bags, on necklaces, and wove it into several of the pants’ waists. The collection used fabrics with soft sheen and had reflective details on the surface. Overall the collection had loose, lived in silhouettes, in beautiful soft fabrics and colors.
