On The Scene: Premiere of HBO’s ‘I Love LA’

The Knockturnal attended the premiere of Rachel Sennott’s new HBO show, “I Love LA,” held at the Paramount Theatre in Los Angeles.

We spoke with creator, executive producer, and star Rachel Sennott on the red carpet, along with cast members True Whitaker and Lauren Holt. 

In celebration of the setting of the series, Sennott shared a story about renting a car when she first moved to LA, and the subsequent consequences that followed, fitting with the tone of creative hustle and chaos of the famous driving city:

True Whitaker, who plays “Alani” in the series, also shared her perspective on what feels the most quintessential LA, sharing an anecdote about her high school experience:

And Lauren Holt, who plays “Courtney” in “I Love LA,” shared a favorite on-set memory with The Knockturnal, along with her perspective on her character, and an activity that feels the most Los Angeles:

Episode 1 of “I Love LA” is out now on HBO, with new episodes premiering every Sunday until the season finale on December 21st.
