Following Sonic movies (with the third installment just around the corner), a new KNUCKLES series has landed! A Paramount+ original, this show pays homage to the beloved video game character and its iconic world.

Idris Elba takes center stage as Knuckles in this spin-off series. We follow Knuckles alongside Wade Whipple (played by Adam Pally), a former supporting character who now steps into a leading role. The series chronicles their adventures as Knuckles adjusts to life on Earth after the events of the previous films.

The premiere event brought together a star-studded cast: Adam Pally, acting legend Cary Elwes joining the Sonic universe as Pete “Pistol” Whipples, Tika Sumpter reprising her roles as Maddie and voice actors Colleen O’Shaughnessey (Tails) and Ben Schwartz (Sonic). Sonic and Knuckles mascots joined the festivities, and guests enjoyed refreshments, including Knuckles’ favorite Cool Ranch Doritos, sweets, and custom Knuckles-themed ice cream treats.

The event offered another sweet treat: a screening of the first four episodes of KNUCKLES. The remaining two episodes round out the captivating six-episode series, perfect for a family binge-watch.

Want to hear more? Check out our interviews with the cast for behind-the-scenes insights, on-set challenges and their favorite Knuckles character designs.

Catch the KNUCKLES series on Paramount+, premiering April 26th! Full show review out on The Knockturnal soon.
