The upper east side headed to Williamsburg, this past Wednesday (August 11).
New York’s hottest influencers, including yours truly, were invited to catch a sneak peek of the season finale of Part 1 of HBO Max’s smash Gossip Girl continuation. We arrived in style to 74Wythe. Yes, HBO sent us a black car. Once we got our temperature and vaccination card checked, we headed inside the venue. Rapid testing was also available on site, allowing for a safe and fun evening. We were greeted by a cute red carpet moment where a house photog snapped our picture. Then we grabbed a martini of course. The signature cocktail was The Elizabeth Jane Lychee Martini.
Inside the venue, a fantastic DJ was spinning awesome throwback tunes. During the pre-screening reception, guests enjoyed caviar, avocado on crackers, mini crab cakes and so many more luxurious light bites. The open bar included Vodka, Tequila, Mezcal, Gin, Rum, Whiskey, Beer, White, Red & Sparkling Wine. There were so many fabulous options. Soon it was time to watch the episode! Each chair had a small bag of popcorn on it. HBO’s VP Of Multicultural Marketing Blaise Preau welcomed everyone and gave some opening remarks.
The latest episode of Gossip Girl may be the best yet! It was so dramatic and engaging. Zoya and Obie’s future seems uncertain. Julian is still in love with Obie. Aki is outed by his father on live television. Max is still grappling with the fallout of hooking up with his teacher. Also, fans get the highly anticipated threesome between Audrey, Max and Aki.
After the screening, attendees headed to the roof for a surprise performance by Rico Nasty and some more amazing food. Many of the dishes like churros and pizza were served on umbrella’s with hooks, which was a unique detail. After the concert, we headed into our black car home. We were also gifted with a custom Brandon Blackwood denim purse. We can’t wait to wear it to our next red carpet event! Thanks so much to HBO Max for another memorable evening!
xoxo
