On Friday night NYC nightlight fixture and Instagram celebrity Josh Ostrovsky (aka The Fat Jew) celebrated the release of his book “Money Pizza Respect” at legendary musical venue Webster Hall with a wild party featuring Zeds Dead, Splurt Zillionz, and Jonny Famous.
As The Fat Jew describes it, he decided to bring along some of his best friends – who happen to be world famous DJs – and Four Loko to celebrate the release of his book, by throwing four concerts in four cities (Chicago, Columbus, and Tempe, in addition to New York) that would not only be free to his fans, but would include an open bar as well!
The Fat Jew is notorious for his crazy party antics, and he definitely found a like-minded sponsor with infamous party drink Four Loko. As The Fat Jew/Josh said, he chose Four Loko to sponsor his tour because of a “mutual desire for outrageous parties and once-in-a-lifetime experiences.” And we have to agree: Webster Hall has been known to host some big names and wild parties, but we have never quite experienced the energy that that Josh’s public persona, the world-famous DJs, and the Four Loko open bar combined to create.
Fans smart enough to arrive early were able to avoid a line that stretched for blocks and enjoy a high-energy set from Jonny Famous. Between acts, The Fat Jew ran around the stage pumping up the crowd, then stayed and danced along to Splut Zillionz and Toronto-based headliner Zeds Dead. When introducing Zeds Dead, The Fat Jew explained that he has been been friends with duo ever since Drake wrote multiple break-up songs about his relationship with each of them. Maybe it was all the free Four Loko, but we believed him.
