Brooklyn’s rising drill artist Dusty Locane recently released his debut album, Untamed, Friday, December 3rd, 2021. In celebration of his new album his label, Empire, held an album release on Wednesday, December 1st at Goldbar in Little Italy. D’usse Cognac sponsored the event and had an array of cocktails that mimicked the names of Dusty’s singles. Notable members in attendance were labelmates Ron Suno, Rah Swish, and VP of A&R at Empire, Bobby Fisher. Also in attendance were rising artist Kocky Ka and several DJs from Da Union DJs. The overall ambiance of Goldbar gave the album release party a sophisticated aura as guests listened to his album.
Bobby Fisher paid tribute to Dusty before the album began to play. Many attendees cheered and chanted as Bobby complimented Dusty’s talent that differentiates him from other artists and his knowledge and love for the music. The album Untamed contains 20 tracks that show both Dusty’s versatility as an artist and witty lyrical abilities as an emcee. For his first project, this album definitely boasts his ability to be a game-changer in the drill scene. The album contains features from artists Rah Swish, Yung Bleu, OBN Jay, 8ANDITT, KG More Breesh, and 3Kizzy. It is very apparent that Dusty will continue to reach monumental heights as an artist. It will be exciting to see where his path leads him!
The album release party gave a glimpse to listeners of just how hard Dusty Locane has worked to perfect his craft and the lane he is creating for himself as an artist. Guests in attendance left thoroughly impressed with the album and were excited for its release on Friday.
