This weekend, the LGBTQ+ community came together to celebrate the launch of So.Gay, the newest publication making waves in queer culture.
The official launch event took place on Sunday, June 16th, at the stunning rooftop venue, Bar Cima, atop the Grayson Hotel in New York City.
The event was a vibrant gathering of top models, stylists, actors, singers, editors, social media creators, designers, publicists, and photographers from the queer community. Alex Hughes, CEO and Editor-in-Chief of Hughes Brand Group, hosted the evening, welcoming guests to experience the launch of So.Gay in style. Attendees enjoyed expertly crafted cocktails and wine, thanks to the mixologists at Bar Cima, with beverages provided by generous sponsors SVEDKA, Mi Campo Tequila, and La Crema Wine.
The event was further enlivened by a beautiful photo studio set up by Troy Hallahan, house photography by Alizayuh, and an electrifying DJ set by P_A_T. Alex Hughes expressed his excitement, saying, “This weekend’s event brought So.Gay’s mission to life by bringing together tastemakers, creators, influencers, talent, and community members to celebrate LGBTQ+ culture – with the best venue, music, drinks, and crowd imaginable.”
So.Gay, launched in April 2024, aims to become the leading cross-platform media destination for the LGBTQ+ community, celebrating and elevating gay culture through premium digital content and unforgettable in-person events.
