Any Friday night at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California would be fun, but this night was “scary” because it’s late October and it’s Halloween time!
Of course, with limits on it, given the current pandemic that the world is in. Nonetheless, thanks to Hulu, hundreds of people got the opportunity to experience a night of scare-a-py at the immersive drive-in experience for the new film Books of Blood. When we got there tons of cars were lined up bumper to bumper ready to drive through the haunted road filled with characters like Pennywise, Freddy Krueger, Winifred, and more from the top scary movies of all time.
After being scared out of our cars, we managed to pull into a spot, turned on the radio, and got comfortable (with popcorn, candy, and boxed water to munch on). The premiere of the Hulu original film, Books of Blood, was full of scary moments, great acting, and a thoughtful plot twist. It was a great way to spend a Friday Night. I can assure you it’s definitely worth a watch. Huddle up with loved ones around the television screen this Halloween and be frightened and entertained. Two of the best feelings you can experience on 10/31.
