Oh what a night!
Ansolo knows great music, and isn’t scared to play it! The crowd was just as energetic as the DJ. Some of them flashed their flash lights, fist pumped, and jumped around in rave party fashion. The club was dark, the music was LOUD, and the strobe lights were on fleek! The only thing missing from the party was Ansolo crowd surfing above the mosh pit of tweens. Throughout the night Ansolo continued to thank the crowd for showing up and was forced to end despite the crowd chanting ONE MORE SONG.
On Oct. 9 actor Ansel Elgort from The Fault in our Stars and Divergent, hosted his under the age of 18 record release party as alter ego Ansolo at Pacha nightclub in NYC. Celebrating his new track “To Life” Ansolo commanded the crowd effortlessly by jumping around, and fist pumping with passion. This actor/musician got his music career off the ground by playing DJ sets at music festivals such as the Electric Zoo, and headlining at Pacha, following a successful acting career. His new mission is to make his music as successful as his acting, and by the looks of it, it’s happening!
Ansolo the music artist doesn’t speak much; he allows the music to speak for him. Ansolo thanked the crowd for coming out despite the gloomy rainy Gotham weather, introduced “To Life” and let the bass go! Ansolo did not stop jumping around taking selfies, and crowd videos, until his set ended. The single “To Life” features the house music band Too Many Zooz. This track sounds like a bar mitzvah brew of EDM and house music. He followed up the rest of the evening with a concoction of today’s pop, old disco, and funk, wrapped up in an EDM/house sandwich. Most of his tracks played after his new single can be found on his soundcloud page under “Shirts and Skins,” “Electric Zoo Festival”, and along with additional fusion sets.
His love for great music, and bringing back the groove, will continue to propel him up the iTunes charts as he introduces the new generation to the oldies, and fusing different genres. Check out and purchase Ansolo’s new single “To Life” featuring Too Many Zooz on iTunes today!
