Omni Hotels Unveils New Tiki Bar Pop-Up, “Tiki Social”

Serving drinks up till Labor Day

New York City welcomed its newest tiki bar, Tiki Social, over Memorial Day weekend. This exciting pop-up is a collaboration between the Omni Hotel and Resorts group and renowned tiki historian, cocktail author, and owner of Latitude 29, Jeff “Beachbum” Berry. Open now through Labor Day, Tiki Social promises a curated selection of tiki-style cocktails designed to transport guests to a tropical paradise.

Some of the signature drinks created for this limited-time experience include:

• The Coconutty Islander: A refreshing blend of platinum rum, Coco Real, passion fruit liqueur, coconut water, lime, and macadamia liqueur, served in a fresh coconut for an authentic tropical feel.
• Totem’s Kiss: Featuring gold rum or vodka, vanilla real, allspice liqueur, lime, orange, cinnamon, and bitters.
• Mai Tai Have Another: A classic with a twist, made with gold rum, dark Jamaican rum, orgeat, orange, and lime.
• The Bitter Birdie: A unique combination of rum, Campari, pineapple liqueur, lime, and bitters.
• Donovan’s Reef: An adventurous mix of malt scotch, crisp apple, real lemon, pineapple, triple sec, and chili liqueur.
