For sometime now “Nolcha Shows” have been giving upcoming and independent designers a chance to shine during New York Fashion Week. Nolcha featured seven collections one of which was “All comes from nothing” by Chinese designer “Eva Yiwel Xu”. The show featured a series of lustrous and modish styles with an earth tone color arrangement. Each look incorporated beautiful details and elegant fabrics. The outfits ranged from a casual sweater dress to a sleek and sassy pants suit and even to a camel colored two piece ensemble detailed with a modern art work design in the center.
The structural silhouettes including the art inspired prints all eluded versatility. Not only is Xu a stylist but she is also an artist and uses fashion as her accomplice. Her artistic line is made for your everyday wardrobe expressing easy mix and match styles with a hint of poise. It’s clear to say her entitled fashion line “All comes from nothing” creates your freedom of life. Xu’s intention was to implement totalities whereas all of the visions were brought to life by styles that speak to creative souls. With her Spring/Summer 2018 collection we can say she attained her aim efficiently.
