Neude., a luxury shapewear underwear line for men, launched at The Webster during Miami Art Basel, their exclusive retailer.
As someone who is currently single, I’m not going to lie, most of my internal underwear debates mirror that of the scene in Bridget Jone’s Diary. Do I go for comfort and support, or do I opt for sexy in the hopes that some lucky man will get to see the work of art under my outfit. The great thing is as a woman, we have tons of options. In the world of men’s undergarments there are far fewer styles to choose from, especially those looking for the latter category of sexy yet well crafted.

Neude. founder and owner Eric Niemand saw the gap in the market after working years as a stylist, most recently on the Tamaron Hall Show. He found that his female clientele had a treasure trove of high-quality panties, especially in the athleisure and basic category, while the male buttocks was not so lucky. So Eric, along with creative director Christopher Glancy founded Neude. remedy the situation.

Not just for one type of man, this product offers comfort and style no matter the age or orientation with five styles that includes sport jock straps, sport trunks and sport briefs in both white and black. The material is high quality and crafted in the US with the male body always in mind. Retailing around $60, the product is an investment but not overly cumbersome on the wallet.

In conjunction with the launch of the garments, the duo also debuted the brand’s first magazine, Neude Paper, which will be a biannual limited-edition print publication. They partnered with photographer Steven Klein for the first issue and plan to continue the tradition of working with like-minded creatives. They hope that both the paper and the Neude. box which also features photography will become a sort of collector’s item.
To celebrate, Neude. hosted a soiree at Twist South Beach.
