The American dream is to buy a house. Netflix just opened doors to that, and a wish came true with the splendid launch of Netflix House Philadelphia.

Before opening doors to the public on Nov. 12, the red carpet rolled out for a magnificent celebration to honor what is destined to be a new way for the country to absorb its favorite shows and movies.

Netflix House Philadelphia and the sister venues opening up in the coming months in Dallas and Las Vegas have made going to the mall again not just cool, but also an adventure that kids and adults of all ages can warmly embrace. The welcome mat at this door is full of wonder and surprises that captivate the visitor with brilliant, interactive story-driven experiences, games, and themed food and drinks.

It’s the kind of story arc we need now more than ever, with a call to action heard loud and clear when you enter through the big red doors of his house. They are yelling at the top of their lungs. Have fun and enjoy the day.

The starry launch party on Nov. 10 in King of Prussia was all about the excitement that this entertainment company is cranking out an impressive and nonstop show. It allows the portal to open up as you slide from your couch, where you Netflix and chill, and let your feet plant on the ground of a real-life playground full of delight.

They were just as impressive to see on the scene as were the excited executives and staff who made this dream come true. The block party was full of smiling team members who knew what they created was a bit of Hollywood magic shared with the masses just miles away from the epicenter of Philadelphia.

Dignitaries, Netflix talent, VIPs, influencers, and media arrived in style at King of Prussia, a Simon Mall in Pennsylvania. The red carpet began with Netflix Co-CEOs Ted Sarandos and Greg Peters presenting Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro, alongside Pennsylvania State Senator Amanda Cappalletti and State Representative Tim Briggs, proudly taking the first steps into the world of wonder.

Everything about the momentous occasion was worthy of applause. The rhapsody of interactive experiences of “Wednesday: Eve of the Outcasts” and “ONE PIECE: Quest For the Devil Fruit” were enjoyed along with Netflix Virtuals and Top 9 mini golf.

Netflix BITES served up scrumptious culinary expressions throughout the entire affair, while Philadelphia’s own DJ Jazzy Jeff brought the House to life with a signature set that celebrated the city’s creative spirit and Netflix’s arrival.

With the symbolic “Key to Netflix House” along with Netflix executives: Chief Content Officer Bela Bajaria, Chief Marketing Officer Marian Lee, Chief Financial Officer Spence Neumann, and Chief Global Affairs Officer Clete Willem, they ushered in a new era of entertainment.

Additional guests who enjoyed an exclusive first look at Netflix House Philadelphia included: Netflix House partners, including Eli Simon (Chief Operating Officer, Simon Mall) and Ian Putnam (President and CEO, Saks Global), and executives from Comcast/Xfinity and Mastercard. Netflix creative partners, including executives from Shondaland, Shueisha, TomorrowStudios, Darren Star Productions, and MGM/Amazon, were also on hand.

Netflix House Philadelphia is a modern lexicon for the entertainment world. Step into the den of this bold and brave new adventure and sit at the table where fun and excitement are served up to you on a gold plate.
