For the launch of their new entertainment company, The 82 Group hosted a brunch in Beverly Hills on Saturday, June 27.
The 82 Group is a collective agency whose goal is to build on music, entertainment and entrepreneurial platforms. Co-founders Renaldo Vines and Santos Garcia presented awards to icons in the industry that have helped them make their visions come to life.
Guests experienced an outdoor afternoon of socializing and cocktails while admiring the gorgeous view of Los Angeles that the venue offered. R&B musicians Luke James, Melonie Fiona and Ne-Yo were in attendance and Ne-Yo was awarded a plaque of appreciation. Luke James informed us about his upcoming concert featuring songs from his album “Luke James” that will be held at the Roxy this coming Tuesday, June 30th.
Verizon was a sponsor of the event, providing guests to have the complete Verizon experience through its photo booth, by showcasing guests’ pictures on a mega-screen. The Thurgood Marshall College Fund and Tequila Herradura were also sponsors. With ending performance by artists Melanie Fiona and The 82 Group’s very own artists ReLxuise and Kevin Ross, the event ended on a classy note with smiles, and laughter. All in all a very entertaining and successful event.
