It’s been about a year and a half since NCT 127 has released a brand new full length studio album.

That being said, the boys are returning with their latest offering to fans, which is the album called “Sticker.” Before the album is released we caught up with the boys at their global press conference to find out about their latest offering.

‘Sticker’ might be released on September 17, 2021, but it has already broken records for the group in sales. The album has surpassed 1.3 million pre-orders and is now over 2.12 million, which is a new personal record for the group. The group’s leader, Taeyong thank the fans for such a phenomenal feat. He said, “this is all possible because our fans have been constantly showing us support. We were really nervous as said in the beginning, but we’re excited and we’re going to work hard to continue becoming even better. So thank you!”

As for the album itself, NCT 127’s main vocalist, Haechan, acknowledge that the new album showcases NCT 127’s charms as well as shows a new side to the group. He said, “For this album, similar to our 1st and 2nd, there’s a wide variety of genres. You’ll be able to see our vocals and rap as well. Performance-wise as well, there’ll be tracks that are more for listening and ones that are more visual so I hope you guys are excited.” NCT 127’s main vocalist, Doyoung,  chimed in and opened up about what the group focused on when preparing for the new album. “As much as it’s been a while since we’re making a comeback, we thought a lot about what our fans would want to see from us. We wanted to try something new that’s different from what we’ve tried out before, and to show some new colors to NCT 127. I think it came out great, and we’re all really satisfied with the album,” he said.

NCT 127’s 3rd Album ‘Sticker’ will be released September 17, 2021.
