Nanette Lepore debuted her Spring Summer line which features regal baroque prints mixed with daring florals as in bold, feminine silhouettes. Though the collection is small as always, she packs a punch with every look in a way that makes the collection feel whole.

The line features bold and daring silhouettes that are paired with romantic and flirty silhouettes to balance it out. There is a sharp baroque printed suit in this collection that is the embodiment of a strong woman and it is paired with a black lace top to give the look a little more femininity. Another balanced pairing is a romantic cold shoulder top made of white lace with soft ruffles at the sleeves which is paired with a strong suited pant in a striped print to highlight its construction. The high neck and the cropped hem of the lace top make the it look modern while the pants still help keep the look bold and strong in contrast. One look in particular was the nail on the head in terms of trends for next season. The look featured a dress that had a faux layered effect which made it look like it was a small tank dress layered over a ruffled cap sleeved blouse. The outer faux layer is constructed with white lace and the faux blouse portion displayed vintage floral embroidery to help emphasize the features of the delicate lace on the dress.

Lepore took a risk with the print on one of her gowns this season which feature a variety of clowns, damsels, and tigers. The vintage looking print showed up in the high neck gown with a daring slit to show a little bosom. The convoluted dress was then paired with a clashing zebra printed belt to highlight the unique features of each piece. The print also showed up in a simple button up blouse paired with white polka dot pants to help tie the gown into the collection.

Though one may not wear the pieces as styled due to their excessive prints, when worn separately the collection becomes quite wearable for everyday. The variety of prints, patterns and silhouettes in this line provide at least one piece for everyone.
