In our newest episode of Create + Conversate, YouTube extraordinaire mxmtoon chatted with our host, Katherine Tinsley, about what’s been new for her channel and career.
Not only is mxmtoon a YouTube content creator, but she also has a daily podcast, 365 days of mxmtoon, is a singer-songwriter, and will even be featured in the newest Life Is Strange game. To top it off, mxmtoon is also a part of U By Kotex’s newest campaign to combat period stigma by sharing her own experience with PMDD, Premenstrual dysphoric disorder.
On working with U By Kotex, mxmtoon shared that “It was really crazy and eye-opening to know this is something we should have an open dialogue to, and to be part of an ad campaign that’s really championing that message is really cool.”
Further, “To have the backing from a company like Kotex and being able to talk about my experience with my period, and to help me feel empowered to be honest about my own story and not feel so much shame about having this diagnosis is really important,” mxmtoon shared.
