This past Tuesday at the St. Felix bar in Hollywood, women working all different jobs in media gathered for the Monster Energy Women’s Ultra Mixer for drinks, stories, laughs, and to connect with other passionate and career-minded women.
The Knockturnal was on the list, so of course we hit this up.
The monthly mixer event started a while ago to empower and celebrate the success of women in media: from film to TV to technology and music. We all have something to learn from one another. The event was spearheaded by Libby Coffey, Vice President of Public Relations at MSO. The event actually started from her home, where she wanted to connect her friends in media. From there it grew so large that it became the Monster Energy Women’s Mixer.
The Knockturnal and other attendees drank delicious cocktails and appetizers from St. Felix. At each event, guests can submit to fun raffles for cruises to places such as the Bahamas, Austin, Texas, Orlando, Florida, Honolulu, Hawaii, and Jacksonville, Florida for film and music festivals and an all paid vacay.
We love it.
Unfortunately, us at The Knockturnal did not win the raffle, but we’ll hedge our bets for next time!
