Mindy Segal, Pastry Creator and owner of HotChocolate Restaurant & Dessert Bar has made a name for herself through emphasizing the importance of food and its ability to bring people together. Since food has always been a passion for Segal, this mission inspired her to become an ambassador for No Kid Hungry, an organization dedicated to ending childhood hunger in America. “Food has always been a passion of mine, and No Kid Hungry helps me to incorporate my passion into a mission that betters my community,” said Segal. Segal recently attended the Hunger Summit Event with No Kid Hungry in Springfield, Illinois where people came together with the similar goal of ending childhood hunger. Together the team raised more than $60,000.
