Is there anything better than a good cocktail?
I mean a really good cocktail with perfect proportions. A hint of this and a splash of that.
The kind of drink that melts your worries away with egg white, cinnamon or maybe mint?
Honestly we don’t care as long as we can revel in it’s goodness.
And if you love cocktails as much as you say you do, you’re probably one of the many New Yorkers who felt a void in your social calendar in recent years with the exclusion of the Manhattan Cocktail Classic.
A week long festival dedicated to all things cocktails where top bars, bartenders and consumers a like come together for 7 days of talks, classes and tastings.
2017 welcomes the comeback of this once annual festival and we’re clearly flipping out.
To ring in this festival’s return, the MCC is kicking off with a black tie opening Gala at the historic Loeb Boathose in Central Park. Ticket’s to the Gala start at $275 a person.
So, definitely cheaper than a Saturday night out aka “sure, bartender keep my tab open.”
Whether you’re a cocktail aficionado or a gin and tonic kind-of-girl looking to expand on her Senior year of college drink of choice, the MCC has something for everyone.
The New Yorker Hotel will play headquarters to the festival but events will be held all over the city from Brooklyn to Harlem.
Like the MCC Punch Invitational in lower Manhattan. Join 600 other cocktail lovers in sampling the latest and greatest “punch” NYC has to offer.
The Classic also even hosts a mocktail inspired event for those who don’t drink.
For more information or to buy tickets to the Gala or festival, head to The Manhattan Cocktail Classic’s web site.
Bottoms up!
