βThe BLK Floral Uptowns” are another successful release by custom shoe designer, Makayla Wray, as she continues to break the mold of providing one of a kind shoe alterations in limited quantities.
The sneaker,Β inspired by Andy Warholβs 1964 βFlowersβ series, is round two for Makayla customizing the classic, low-top AF1 silhouette. Limited to only 25 pairs itβs safe to say she decided to up the quantity after seeing such great feedback and support from her May 15 drop of the βWhite Floral AF1β which was limited to just 15 pairs. Makayla chose Andy Warhol because he is a fellow Pittsburgh native. Since May she has released one design per month, so be on the lookout for her July design.
