MAGNUM Ice Cream, the only ice cream bar made with Belgian chocolate, is bringing pleasure to New York’s SoHo neighborhood just in time for summer.
MAGNUM New York, which opened its doors on Saturday, April 23, at 134 Prince Street, marks the first storefront in the U.S. featuring the brand’s ultimate customizable ice cream indulgence. Globally, MAGNUM has launched storefronts in more than 30 countries and 22 cities including Florence, Manila, Cape Town, Karachi, Sydney, Singapore, Venice and Amsterdam.
The launch party of the exclusive event offered the finest decor and presentation, inclusive of live music and delicious savory and sweet bites such as pistachio goat cheese cakes with caramelized onion and lemon arugula. Drinks included a custom Magnum Rose made with citrus vodka, cranberry, lemon, rose syrup and rose petals along with Chimay Belgian beer and Prosecco. After guests had the chance to mingle and experience the new storefront design, spokesperson Jonathan Jones introduced celebrity and socialite Hailey Baldwin to create the first Make My Magnum ice cream bar at the newly installed dipping bar. The dipping bar allows guests to participate in making their own Magnum bars by selecting silky vanilla bean or rich chocolate ice cream bars to be hand dipped in three different melted chocolate coatings made from rich, decadent Belgian chocolate. Exciting toppings include rose petals, expresso sugar, sweet coconut flakes, chopped hazelnuts, cornflower, and goji berries for an extraordinary bar like no other. Following, Hailey sat down for a short interview in helping launch the New York storefront.
The store will be open daily from noon to 9:00 pm through mid-August at 134 Prince Street.
