In its third year as the Official Tequila of North America, Maestro Dobel Tequila has unveiled it’s new annual Artpothecary thematic: Oaxaca: A Lens On Tradition And Innovation.
Located at Frieze New York on the eighth floor of The Shed at Hudson Yards, Marissa Naval exhibits a unique custom bar created specifically for Maestro Dobel Tequila, using Mexican wood, an ancient material used by local artisans for centuries as well as furniture inspired by traditional pieces in Mexico. Javier Reyes showcases a new collection of wool, cotton, palm and clay works based on geometrical shapes for an authentic yet unique approach to Oaxacan architecture.
Together through their works, the two artists have created a space which transports guests to Oaxaca and offer a selection of smooth Maestro Dobel Tequila cocktails, specifically created in homage to the region.
