This past week France’s first and most exported liqueur celebrated the launch of their new brand campaign in a majestic, Louis XIV style venue with celebrity guests Kate Bosworth and Kate Mara.
In partnership with the French Institute Alliance Francaise, the house Master Blender Patrick Raguenaud celebrated the eccentric twists in life that transform the traditional into the truly grand, alongside a very chic New York crowd. Joseph Kahn, one of the most acclaimed music video directors in the world, and the mastermind behind Grand Marnier’s new television spot and digital campaign was also at the event, as well as actresses Kate Bosworth and Kate Mara.
Invented in 1880 and still manufactured by the Marnier-Lapostoll family, Grand Marnier is a triple sec liqueur: first it is distilled, then an orange peel is added to flavor the alcohol. Sold worldwide, the liqueur is often consumed “neat” and also provides flavor for many desserts, cocktails, flambé dishes, and sauces.
During the grand night guests had the pleasure to discover the world of the award-winning French luxury liqueur. From the perfume bar where everyone could mix and match essentials oils and fragrances to make their own perfume blend, to an actual hedge maze at the end of which guests found themselves immersed in an interactive presentation and tasting. ” ‘Live Grand’ is about the journey of taking a good experience and transforming it into a GRAND one,” said Director Joseph Kahn, and that exactly what the brand accomplished that night.
