Donny Blanco is someone to pay attention to.
He released Epyon in November of 2019, a solid 5 song EP, but his new project Steel Fang is on another level. Steel Fang delivers a versatile, sleek, gritty, and stronger side of the Texas artist and it shows with him coming right out the gates with Huey Freeman. Steel Fang is a mix of gangsta rap and melodic tunes. Attach those sounds with vibrant and vivid lyrics, you have the perfect recipe that will take any listener on a divine journey on what made Donny Blanco. Imagine if you combined the Wu-Tang Clan with Snoop Dogg, Curren$y, and Wiz Khalifa on a project. Very Eclectic. His style is smooth and nostalgic but gritty at the same time.
My thought process for this album was that I needed something raw. Something that’s going to slap the critics in the fuckin face with. It’s been a few years since I released new music so I had to make something memorable. During the months working on the album I had “Me Against The World” , “Fetti” , “Only Built 4 Cuban Linx” all on repeat.
