On October 11th, 2018 P&G hosted an event to live demo their new home care innovations alongside a beautiful breakfast.
P&G invited us to ‘The 24th street Loft’ for breakfast, lattes, and show off the newly improved home care cleaning products. P&G or Procter and Gamble is America’s biggest corporation for consumer goods including home care and personal hygiene products. During their “Life A Little More” breakfast we got to see live demos of newly improved and new to come Swiffer, Febreze, Dawn, Cascade, and Mr. Clean products.
Upon walking into the event the décor was that of a modern-day home where P&G’s Scientific Communications Manager, Morgan Brashear live demoed Dawn Platinum, Cascade Platinum, and Febreeze. These live demos were shown in the Loft’s mock kitchen where Morgan explained Dawn Platinum Soap’s ability to break down stains without hard scrubbing. Dawn Platinum’s ability to break down stains without scrubbing enables the product to be multi-use. Morgan shared with us that not only does she use her Dawn Platinum in the kitchen but also on jewelry, pre-treating stains for laundry, and even beauty blenders. The Dawn “grease fighting power” can also be found in Cascade Platinum dishwasher pods. Morgan then later went on to give a demo of exactly how Febreze odor clear technology works using an indicator to show how odor vanishes after Febreze Air is sprayed. Morgan shared with us that one of the ways Febreze is able to tackle odors is due to citric acids in the formula used to neutralize the Ph of certain odors.
Once guests were moved into the mock bathroom, we were able to get a live demo of the Swiffer Wet Jet. If you’re unfamiliar with the Swiffer Wet Jet it’s one of the most convenient cleanup products on the market. You place a cleaning pad on the bottom of your Swiffer, press a button on the handle to release the Swiffer cleaning agent, and mop. Following the demo of the Swiffer Wet Jet, we got to see the Swiffer Sweeper Dry pads in action. The Swiffer Sweeper Dry pads have a wax coating that enables it to pick up dust particles that could be potentially left behind after vacuuming or traditional broom sweeping.
Following all of the fun demos that suddenly gave me to urge to run home and clean something, guests were treated to a beautiful breakfast alongside custom painted Toby’s Estate lattes by Barista Brian.
Be sure to follow @proctergamble for more news on upcoming home care innovations as well as @baristabrian for some fun latte art.
