Kranium released an acoustic version of his song “Nobody has to Know.”
The dancehall singer released an acoustic version of his summer single and a day of the life video on his youtube channel. The day in the life video follows Kranium around during Labour Day carnival weekend in New York City.
Originally born Kemar Donaldson in Montego Bay, Jamaica, Kranium later moved to Jamaica, Queens. He ended up pursuing music, more specifically the dancehall genre. Soon he gained popularity on New York City’s dancehall scene. Now he is signed to Atlantic Records and is working on his debut project. Releasing an extended version of his single “Nobody has to Know” and the backstage video is a treat for his fans.
Additionally Kranium, Major Lazer, and Kick Raux joined forces to produce a remix to this familiar island riddim. “Major Lazer always tries to be on top of pushing new dancehall music internationally. Kranium has one of the biggest songs of the past two years and Kickraux is one of the favorite new producers; making some future dancehall,” Diplo said in a statement.
His project Rumors is due out later this fall.
