On April 9, the house of KIM CIG launched their first collection. Hundreds of attendees gathered at New Jerseyโs Car Lofts in Fairfield for a stunning evening fit for the line.
Under the bright stars the bash of the weekend was full of electrifying moments hosted by founder and Creative Director for KIM CIG, Kimberly Cignarella.
Surrounded by vintage vehicles, guests were dazzled as they toasted their glasses in the air to the bell of the ball. Kimberly launched the first ever luxury acrylic handbag that glows up when you light it up. It is a thing of wonder that the fashion industry has never witnessed. And it is a glorious beauty.
โI always wanted to do that as well as do something that is innovative, but I wanted to keep the design presence of it. A classic, something that you can keep forever and where we are today with technology it is even more perfect,โ proudly stated the entrepreneur on the red carpet.
Kim, who comes from a ready-to-wear designer background for more than a decade for top bands like Laundry and Nicole Miller, has taken the classic handbag and made it functional and even more glamourous.
โEveryone’s on their cell phones, everyone you know, needs to have that picture on Instagram. And that’s just the world we live in right now. I wanted to make sure I tapped into that, while also having my message to be heard. So, there is a port where you charge your handbag. There’s an external port A USB that you your bag also comes with a lightning cable to charge iPhones. You can charge any personal device from it. It comes with a branded display box with a home for traveling. If you need to bring it on an airplane, you know, it comes with an authenticity card it comes with a microfiber cloth to keep it clean and maintained.โ
