Jordache Hosts Spring 2016 Preview

Who remembers acid wash denim, skinny leg jeans with zippers and cropped jackets?

I do and apparently so does Jordache. We got a chance to check out the SS16 press preview for The Jordache Look and fell in love with the brand all over again. In June 2015 they launched their first e-commerce site www.Jordache.com featuring their new collection of “vintage styles with modern updates.”

This heritage collection is broken down into 3 capsules – iconic styles from the 70’s and 80’s, ($89.00-$149.00) premium denim in modern, trend-on fabrics and pieces that are hand selected ($89-$149.00) and hand crafted ($300-$500). The stand out pieces include the oh so sweet acid wash, cropped jacket with the skinny leg jeans with zippers. This set has a row of bows down the center seam of its jacket and by the zipper on the pants that instantly transforms you back to the 80’s but makes you feel as if you need it right now.

Another stand out piece is the over sized, acid wash jacket that’s completely Denise Huxtable from The Cosby Show but would still look amazing on top of anything in your closet now. Some of our favorite features of the collection are the higher rise of the pants, straight leg, classic back pocket with the original horse logo and classic washes of deep indigo and acid wash.

Check out the latest collection. It was fun ro stroll down memory lane.
