JCPenney invited The Knockturnal on June 22 to preview their upcoming Holiday Collection.
With July coming to an end and fall collections beginning to hit shelves everywhere, most people are still trying to hold on to the last days of summer. But at their Holiday Preview, JCPenney put everyone in the mood for wintertime with huge blow up displays of candy canes and Christmas trees. To launch their upcoming Holiday Collection, they displayed winter wear for the entire family and fun Christmas accessories perfect for fun family and office gatherings. The Home collection had everything from towels to kitchen settings, showed goods by Black Series, As Seen On TV, Chef’s Choice, Hallmark, Nostalgia Electrics, and JCPenney Home.
The winter wear collections showed coats and jackets for the entire family in solids and plaid. Active wear outerwear were shown in hues of bright fuchsia and turquoise and neon green. Accessories like scarves, hats, handbags, jewelry, and shoes were by JCPenney exclusive brands like Arizona, Liz Claiborne, Nicole by Nicole Miller, and Olsenboye. The Lux Collection, comprising of fancier separates, was perfect for family gatherings and Holiday Parties. The men’s collection showcased shirts with fun prints and velvet blazers in jewel tones. The women’s collection had a large variety of separates that had decorative details like sequins and fringe; the collection won out by offering almost half the collection in plus sizes. The woman’s brands consisted of a.n.a., I Heart Ronson, Liz Claiborne, and Xersion. The men’s brands consisted of Levi’s, Claiborne, St. John’s Bay, Stafford, and J.Ferrar. The fun Holiday accessories included hats with Santa beards, Rudolph night nights, and snapbacks with elf ears, along with a few Minions decorations.
