A new year means new goals, new challenges, and the hopes that you can make this year better than the last. Hollywood Unlocked’s CEO and founder Jason Lee is not waiting for anyone to make his dreams come true, as always, he goes and gets it on his own.
When told that he was not ready to take over hosting for the iconic TV show host Wendy Williams, Lee decided he didn’t need anyone’s approval, he was going to create his own show. “I give a very unfiltered reflection of what I see on the inside of Hollywood and I think I’m the only one doing it,” Lee stated. After finding a studio space located in Hollywood, the ambitious media mogul made it his own, creating the perfect environment to spill all the tea. Lee will transition his weekly YouTube livestream into a fully produced one-hour weekly talk show featuring fun segments and candid and compassionate conversations with celebrity guests.
On Sunday, January 8 Lee threw a massive party, hosted by Remy Ma to celebrate the launch of his new talk show, the Jason Lee Show. The extravagant event held at Eden Sunset in Hollywood was quickly filled with supporters, friends and celebrity guests including Tiffany Haddish, Tamar Braxton, Joseph Sikora, Deon Taylor, Tokyo Stylez, Jhonni Blaze and more! “Following your passion is what Jason Lee is all about. He is an incredibly creative person but this is also his passion. So, I think this also transcends to let everyone know that if you follow that creative spirit, that thing that you have inside of you, it’s only going to lead to a road of success,” shared Power star Joseph Sikora. Once guests made their way down the red carpet, they were ready for the festivities hosted by Revolt and DeLeón to commence. The lavish venue was decked out in a red, lime green and zebra color scheme to match the set of the show. Over 1100 guests were in attendance enjoying the sounds of DJ Carisma and sipping on themed cocktails such as “Jason’s Tea,” “The Gag,” “Thots & Prayers,” and more.

The talk show host had been quite tight lipped about who his first guest would be but he guaranteed audiences that it was worth the wait. “When I asked who you wanted on the show first, I hurd you! Big Bardi [Cardi B] pulled up to the @jasonleeshow yesterday! No questions were off limits! Now you can see what our Facetimes are like,” Lee wrote on an Instagram caption.
