On Wednesday, February 5th, some of LA’s biggest stars got together to celebrate the book launch of their friend Jason Felts’ new insider novel, HOLLYWOOD VIRGIN. As the founder and CEO of Richard Branson’s Virgin entertainment company, Jason spills both the celebrity tea (with some never-before-told stories about the Bransons, the Obamas, the Kardashians, the Simpsons, Halle Berry, Paris Hilton, Courteney Cox, and more) — while also penning a love letter to the City of Angels.

Living in LA comes with quite a lot of hustle, risk-taking, fun, and perseverance. Held at The Abbey in West Hollywood (at the launch party, Jason told the story of the first time he saw the iconic bar on a visit at 16), the book launch also celebrated being featured on the February cover of Los Angeles magazine’s newest special edition — with Jason appearing alongside Richard Branson and a montage of 2000’s notable celebs.

The book launch party attire was all about bathrobes. Jason recently lost his home due to the devastating LA wildfires. Having to leave his home in just a bathrobe, he was inspired to use the party to also help raise funds for important causes near and dear to him (and all partygoers). So event proceeds helped to support the relief efforts of the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation, a 501 c3 nonprofit. And proceeds from the author’s sales of the book will also support The Trevor Project.
