On Thursday, April 25th Indique held a reception to share the exciting launch of the iKhanic collection by Chaka Khan. Longtime friend and hairstylist George Fuller, Chaka Khan, and Indique collaborated and created exclusive Indique pieces inspired by her iconic looks.

Ten-time Grammy award-winning singer and songwriter, Chaka Khan, has partnered with Indique to share her Iconic style with “Every woman, everywhere.” Indique invited us to an intimate reception to celebrate the launch with Chaka Khan present. Indique has become a leading force in the hair extension industry since there beginning in 2007. Indique is known for having a variety of high-quality natural and virgin hair textures sold in their signature tubes. With Indique being known to cater to all hair textures, they were able to execute mimicking Chaka’s natural hair texture perfectly.

George Fuller, hair stylist to many music icons including Chaka Khan, was also in attendance. While guests sipped on mimosas, Fuller gave an in-depth demonstration on how he would style both of the hair pieces. The ‘iKhanic Curl’ and the ‘iKhanic straight’ full adjustable wigs are both 10.5 oz of hair and 18 inches long. While these are the only to pieces launching alongside the ‘iKhanic Shine’ finishing spray, we may expect an expansion of Chaka’s line in the future. The iKhanic collection pieces both retail for $699 and are available at www.chakabyindique.com, and Indique Hair Boutiques.
