You know you’re at a 5-star event when the artists and space are both works of art!
Last week, art consultant firm Horatio & Carson hosted a fabulous Inaugural Opening Reception by way of a pop-up gallery for an emerging group called, Arise. The reception was located in West Chelsea’s cultural district at the sculptural property entitled Allongé, which was designed by famous architect Zaha Hadid, the event sponsored by Gabriel’s. Arise consisted of artworks by a group of young and talented artists Gabriel Aiello, John Paul Fauves, Marc Carson, Alexis Dahan, and Katya Zvereva.
The event was curated by art consultant Paul Horatio Henkel of Hauser + Wirth and former owner of Not For Them, Mark Carson. According to a company press release, the duo are partners at Horatio & Carson, both passionate about developing and nurturing young artists throughout temporary exhibitions in galleries and industrial spaces throughout New York City. The artists, who hail from New York, Russia, Los Angeles, Costa Rica and Bronx are a group of global visual artists who seem to have impressed the crowd of art patrons and art lovers.
