Sleigh bells are ringing in the greatest city in the world! Last night, we kicked off the official opening of the Holiday Season here in New York, as we enjoyed the opening of Bank Of America Winter Village at Bryant Park! Winter village features NYC’s only free-admission skating rink, and one of the largest too, plus more than 170 Holiday Shops and The Lodge for festive food and drink.

The much-loved Winter Village at Bryant Park is back and ready to bring holiday cheer to New Yorkers and visitors alike! Now open to the public, the park’s seasonal transformation offers a rich array of festive activities, delicious treats, and holiday shopping. Here’s what you can expect this year:

Ice Skating and Festivities at NYC’s Only Free-Admission Rink:

Winter Village is home to New York City’s only free-admission ice skating rink, a favorite for those seeking a winter wonderland experience without the entry fee. Guests can lace up their skates and enjoy the holiday spirit on one of the largest rinks in the city.

Cozy Igloos for the Perfect Gathering

Back by popular demand, the Cozy Igloos have returned to Winter Village, offering a charming way to enjoy the festivities. Open daily from November 7 through March 2, these clear, heated domes decorated with seasonal decor are perfect for intimate gatherings of up to eight guests. Located just steps from the rink and Christmas tree, the igloos offer shareable menu items like charcuterie plates, giant pretzels, and loaded fries, plus festive cocktails such as mulled wine, spiked hot chocolate, and apple cider.

Food and Drink at The Lodge:

Who says you have to ski first in order to engage in après-ski? It’s definitely more of a lifestyle, one that you can achieve right in the park! After skating, head to The Lodge, a cozy après-skate escape filled with food and drink options perfect for winter cravings. This open-air festive hall offers bars and restaurants serving everything from cocktails to s’mores, providing a warm place to relax. You can even catch big-screen game-day viewings with friends or family!

Shopping at the Holiday Shops by Urbanspace Markets:

Over 170 holiday shops by Urbanspace Markets bring a diverse range of unique gifts, crafts, and holiday treats to Winter Village. It’s a one-stop spot for anyone seeking that perfect holiday gift.

Iceless Curling at the Curling Café + Bar:

For a new twist, the northeast corner of Bryant Park hosts the Curling Café + Bar, where guests can try their hand at iceless curling. Reservations include a heated dome and a curling lane for up to eight guests, along with food and drink.

Tree Lighting on December 3rd:

Mark your calendar for the annual Tree Lighting on December 3rd! The event, featuring skating performances and a special host, will be live-streamed for those unable to attend in person!

Winter Village at Bryant Park offers something for everyone, whether it’s sipping hot cocoa at The Lodge or finding unique holiday gifts at the Holiday Shops. Make this season unforgettable by stopping by for some true New York holiday magic! Hear more about it and plan a visit for yourself here!
