Hickey Freeman’s new Spring Summer collection tells the theme of “Kinetic Energy”, luxury in motion set place on the rooftop penthouse of the Standard East Hotel.
This season is updated with new and fresh colors based on shades of blue along with the expansion of formals that elevate the luxury experience. The collection is centered around three vignettes named Hamptons, Battery Park, and Manhattan Nights. Hamptons consists of a dreamy color palette with sand and sky blue, taking on a more relaxed expression of luxury wear with light fabrics, while Battery Park introduces a new modern colorway of the classic suit in gray and sapphire. Manhattan Nights, undoubtedly, is the most impressive of the three, with denim inspired evening wear. The highlights of the presentation were tuxedos made in denim and denim jacquard dinner jackets.
Even with the new updates of formal wear and color, Hickey Freeman still manages to keep a clean and classic aesthetic true to its brand. The pieces convey the new generation man and his desire for expression.
