HBO has a new event pop up series taking place this summer in Provincetown, MA called “The Studio.” The series is the result of HBO’s in-depth study from over a year ago called “The Queer Culture Project.”
The Queer Culture Project study sought out to examine the issues and trends the LGBTQ community consistently faces, and to determine who was the catalyst of conversations impacting LGBTQ culture from within and outside of the community. The research performed on over 100 influencers contributing to the conversation helped HBO identify themes, memes and the zeitgeist of the community that is shaping attitudes and opinions. As a means to build on the newfound knowledge, and to continue these conversations and explore the culture even further, HBO will be opening their doors to an immersive pop-up experience in Provincetown called “The Studio.”
