A delicious bourbon made using only the finest ingredients from New York
For those that have made the trip to the Hamptons during the summer, you have definitely heard of Wolffer Estate Vineyard. But wine isn’t the only thing that Wolffer Estate Vineyward is making now. On February 15th, they announced their incredible partnership with Great Jones Distilling Co. to create the Great Jones x Wolffer Estate Cask Finished Bourbon. This new limited-edition bourbon was carefully crafted by two master distillers, Celina Perez and Roman Roth, where they used the finest ingredients from New York to make this new spirit.
And last week, guests were invited to Great Jones Distilling Co. to try out the new expression for themselves. The event have guests an exclusive tasting of the spirit, both neat and in delicious cocktails, and paired it with delectable light bites. Guests were also given a behind-the-scenes tour of the distillery and check out the machines used to craft Great Jones whiskey and bourbon.
The limited-edition liquid starts with 100% local grain, distilled in New York and aged in New American Oak barrels. A blend of the finest 4-7 Year Old casks of Great Jones Straight Bourbon was hand-selected to be finished for over a year in Wölffer Estate’s Caya Cabernet Franc barrels, and expertly cut to proof with the finest Catskills Mountain water.
Great Jones x Wölffer Estate Cask Finished Bourbon is available in select bars, restaurants and at fine retailers in New York State for a suggested retail price of $49.99.
