We were ready to rumble in the most delicious way. Hunt & Fish Club in Manhattan this week hosted a gathering!
Epic match off before the big night between Floyd Mayweather and John Gotti III.
The luxurious Midtown dining hotspot owned by Nelson Braff and Eytan Sugarman took the spotlight during the history-making fight announcement. At the starry affair was also John Gotti Jr who came out to support and help bounce off the fighting words of Mayweather.
Gotti is 5-1 as a pro MMA fighter who made the transition over the boxing following his first MMA loss to Nick Alley at CES 61 in 2020. Gotti is listed as 2-0 in his pro boxing career, which also is incluiv of a first-round knockout victory in January 2023. Mayweather has been having several exhibition battles against many in recent memory which includes the likes of Logan Paul, Deji, and Tenshin Nasukawa.
Befitting of the press conference was the perfect setting of Hunt & Fish Club. In the grand style of the glory of 1960’s New York, renowned contemporary artist Roy Nachum worked with design and architecture firm Studio Iyor to create the perfect space. The ritzy steakhouse vibe of days past reminds patrons of what it means to enjoy life and encourages guests to savor every bite, every moment.
The space features original artwork and over 50,000 lbs of marble, which pound for pound was perfect for the match off vibe. There was also an after party for the boxing affair which showcased the smaller, oasis-themed “Green Room” which boasts a soaring arched skylight and living green wall. Downstairs, a glass encased infinity wine cellar gives way to the romantic “Blue Room,” a dedicated event space wrapped in vibrant drapery of contemporary Roman Reliefs under a grand, mirrored ceiling.
Here is to a day of sport glory.
