Out on my rounds Wednesday night, in the midst of another bitter NYC forecast, I had to make a stop at the FAVIANA SPRING SOCIAL event for the unveiling of their Pre-Spring 2016 collection – and trust me when I say, it was well worth it.
I got my nails done, my makeup and hair done, all while sipping on champagne, listening to some great tunes, and taking in the racks of fabulous dresses. Any occasion, you name it, they have it; from prom to the red carpet, and then down the isle. I needed some place else to go by the end of it.
Born and bred in the heart of New York City, the family based, formal dress company has been in a lane of their own ever since being founded in 1988 by the Moradi family. Since opening their doors, FAVIANA has easily grown to be the utmost go-to for all your special event’s essentials. You could even catch the likes of the beautiful, and always fashionable KIM KARDASHIAN, Dancing With the Star’s CHERYL BURKE, Pretty Little Liars star ASHLEY BENSON, and more wearing one of their glamorous pieces. Highly influenced by NYC’s rich and diversified culture, FAVIANA takes great pride in embodying all that is sophisticated, bold, and forward-thinking.
With styles ranging from wedding, cocktail, prom, basic evening to glitz-n-glam, creating lifelong memories in a FAVIANA gown is imminent; and leaving no one out, coining the term the “Faviana Fit”, there is a size perfect for any curve. Already known for their intricate detailing and contemporary silhouettes, the FAVIANA 2016 collection takes it a step further with the insertion of the neoprene and frosted satin aesthetic to their brand, and continues to hold its focus on keeping up with top trends.
As if the event wasn’t great enough, in addition to all the goodies bestowed to event goers that evening, FAVIANA threw a social media contest for the most Instagram likes received using their signature hashtag for the night, #FAVIANASPRINGSOCIAL16. The lucky winner would walk away with one of their gorgeous gowns free of charge, sized accordingly. And any woman walking around New York City in a FAVIANA gown, red carpet ready, you have to call lucky.
