For the holidays, Fabolous always graces the scene with hot tracks.
In true Fabolous fashion, it has become a tradition to expect new music from him during the holidays. Time and time again we’ve seen the Brooklyn native release quality work to his fans, such as The S.O.U.L. Tape 2 and The Soul Tape 3. Both happened to drop around Thanksgiving (as does this new mixtape) and Christmas time.
Twelve tracks are featured on his new mixtape Summertime Shootout. It also features remixed versions to popular tracks like The Weeknd’s “Tell Ya Friends,” Bryson Tiller’s “Sorry Not Sorry” as well as a take on Drake’s club banger “Hotline Bling” categorized as the track “Trapline Bling”.
Originally when a fan asked what vibe can be expected from the mixtape, Fabolous stated, “It’s a mixtape about a summertime story.” I’d have to agree that these tracks will get you pumped about summertime and what it embodies.
Moreover, on Christmas Day, Fab plans to release The Young OG Project 2. It’s the second part of his album that features his hit singles “You Made Me,” and “She Wildin.” With a few weeks to spare, in the meantime check out Summertime Shootout:
