On May 1st, 2020, one of Australiaโs hottest rising acts, Kian released his highly anticipated new single, โEvery Hourโ.
Since catching the music worldโs attention in 2018 with the song, โWaitingโ, singer-songwriter Kian has gone double platinum, scored an ARIA nomination and amassed over 50 million streams on Spotify. The song eventually went on to win one of Australiaโs biggest radio stationโs annual competition, the Triple J unearthed High Award; where he beat out over 11,000 submissions.
Not bad for an artist who penned his break out hit when he was only fourteen.
Growing up in the small Victorian city of Castlemaine, just 2 hours outside of Melbourne; Kian was immersed in music from a young age. His father, a director of Indigenous Hip Hop Projects, exposed Kian to a wide variety of cultures and communities that greatly influenced his songwriting and his deeply felt connection to performing.
