Cultural icon Vashtie Kola has a new partnership with Pine-Sol through designing a limited edition shoe. The sneaker sales are intended to continue Pine Sol’s commitment to supporting Black female entrepreneurs.
The shoe is available through the Pine-Store, their first-ever merchandise collaboration is available for purchase along with other must-haves. All of the proceeds made from the Pine Store will go towards digitalundivided, a nonprofit that leverages data, advocates for women of color, and has innovative programs to support women of color entrepreneurs and their communities.

For Vashtie the Pine-Sol collaboration gave her an opportunity to utilize her creativity to help her community. Her inspiration for the shoe was inspired by her own connection to the brand and style. She was able to pay homage to the iconic Pine-Sol logo and her own past by pulling from her own grunge, skater, and sneakerhead trends of her teenage years.
Vashtie’s connection with Pine-Sol began at an early age. Her connection to the brand colors and iconic scent helped guide the design process. Vashtie herself is well known for her sneaker designs and most notably for being the first woman to design a pair of Jordans. While speaking with The Knockturnal she offered words of wisdom for young girls of color interested in entrepreneurship.
