The icing on the cake is that the brand made an even bolder statement by featuring internationally recognized Supermodel and body-positivity enthusiast, none other than 2019 Swimsuit Illustrated Rookie, Tara Lynn in the stunning launch of it’s Fierce First Plus Size Swimwear Collection!
We brunched at the gorgeous Nasty Gal HQ, DTLA enjoying fresh fruit, pastries and a wide variety of treats while sipping creatively crafted signature mimosa’s with some of the most fabulous curvy curators, designers and influencers in LA such as @nicolettemason @danidmc and @brimartinezz just to name a few who all came out to celebrate the launch which clearly shows where the Nasty Gal brand stands when it comes to creating fashion-forward pieces that empower beautiful women all over the world to be their most authentic selves, one reason Tara told us she she couldn’t be more excited to be featured in Nasty Gal’s launch.
We also hung out, taking selfies and talking all things curvy fashion with the gorgeous and super sweet woman of the hour Tara and got up close and personal to find out all of the things she’s loving and what she can’t live without including her favorite music, movies & more! Tara Lynn: Lipstick

Tara Lynn: Everything, I literally loved shooting in every single swimsuit in this collection, they’re all so different yet so stunning and so so flattering!
The Knockturnal: While we’re talking about your Nasty Gal collection you are also in Sports Illustrated currently congrats! So tell us, What is the best part about being a Swimsuit Illustrated Rookie
Tara Lynn: Just representing for all my curvy sisters
The Knockturnal: You’ve done so much in your career already and you’re definitely a trailblazer, what do you want to do next in your career and what’s at the top of your priorities and goals list for the next 5 years? What’s is Tara Lynn’s 5 year plan?
Tara Lynn: That’s a good question, I’m really happy with where I am now, I absolutely love my career as it stands right now and I see it sort of catapulting on to some new things, but I do absolutely love my career as it stands, and I also love the access it gives me to figuring out a path that is sort of uncharted so far. I’d say staying on this path and probably spending a little bit more time with my kids overall that’s definitely always a top priority. I’m also very distracted because I want to go back to my favorite movie question lol…

Tara Lynn: “Mother” “Mother” definitely “Mother”
The Knockturnal: Yes, we loved “Mother” too okay so another question, acting! Is acting something you’d like to do more of in the future?!
Tara Lynn: Of course, yeah, I am an actor I’m just not discovered yet girl!
