Siddiq Saunderson returns as the Wu-Tang Clan’s Ghostface Killa in season two of Hulu’s hit biographical drama Wu-Tang: An American Saga.
Wu-Tang: An American Saga portrays a fictionalized version of the formation of the famous New York City-based hip hop group The Wu-Tang Clan. With real-life band members Bobby Diggs and Method Man serving as executive producers, the series follows the creation of the group in 1990s Staten Island, despite the rampant crime, infighting, and seeded resentment between the members.
While Season 1 slowly unfolded the lives and motivations of each member, season 2 picks up the drama as the group takes their first steps towards success in the music industry. While some members struggle with disillusionment, others hold resentment that makes a harmonious group impossible. The group must maintain its authenticity while overcoming fractured relationships on the backdrop of the rugged inner-city.
Siddiq Saunderson, a gifted and versatile entertainer, reprises his role as Dennis, aka Ghostface Killa. Saunderson lets audiences into the inspiration behind his work, what he’s most excited for viewers to see this season, and even his role as Mercutio in the 21st-century experimental retelling of ‘Romeo & Juliet’: “R#J.”
