Ask any SoCal native and they’ll tell you, Coachella’s best party is by far the Neon Carnival party. Neon Carnival is an event that music festival goers look forward to every year. It’s a late-night celebration that brings together some of the biggest names in entertainment and lifestyle for a night of fun and dancing under the stars. This year, the Neon Carnival celebrated its twelfth year, and it did not disappoint.
The party took place at the Desert International Horse Park and was created by Brent Bolthouse, LA’s original nightlife mastermind, and producing partner Jeffrey Best. The exclusive desert afterparty was sponsored by Levi’s and Don Julio, and it was a night to remember.
Some of the biggest names in entertainment were in attendance, including Leonardo DiCaprio, Camila Cabello, Lil Nas X, Janelle Monae, and many others. The party was a place to see and be seen, and everyone was dressed to impress.
I sported No Faith Studios best pre-frayed, wide-legged baggy denim pants; a smart choice for navigating the desert’s dusty and sandy terrain while keeping comfortable and on-trend. Some A-listers opted for the same. I spotted some of our industry favorites rocking oversized jackets and pants to beat the dust.
Janelle Monae and her entourage posed for a close-up in front of the iconic Levi’s Ferris Wheel, which was a popular spot for photos throughout the night. Lil Nas X arrived at the party in a festive look sporting a new hairdo. Camila Cabello rolled in solo and was seen hanging with friends and shared a moment with fellow artist Coi Leray.
Neon Carnival regular, Leonardo DiCaprio arrived incognito, but his presence did not go unnoticed. Anderson Paak, also known as DJ Peewee, arrived in a sequined fit in the day, and Teyana Taylor showed out in a stylish lime green number, ready to party.
Shaun White and Nina Dobrev found an intimate booth to cuddle up for the night while watching DJ Mel Debarge. The two turned The Levi’s® Brand Presents Neon Carnival with Tequila Don Julio into a date night, lovingly embracing each other in their VIP booth as they enjoyed Tequila Don Julio 1942 cocktails.
Coi Leray held her own personal photoshoot on the Levi’s Ferris Wheel, and Alix Earle was spotted sipping on Tequila Don Julio Rosado while dancing the night away with her best friend and make-up artist, Patrick Ta.
Comedians Jo Koy and King Bach were spotted on stage exchanging jokes during DJ Ruckus’ set, and Olivia Culpo kept it low-key, sipping 1942 inside the Tequila Don Julio Airstream alongside her sisters. Glorilla and Yo Gotti were spotted having fun and sharing laughs while in the bumper cars.
The Neon Carnival party is always a highlight of the Coachella music festival weekend, and this year’s event was unforgettable with the zipper ride and sky high ferris wheel. With an impressive lineup of A-list celebrities, specialty drinks, and amazing music, the party was a success. Fans of the party are already looking forward to next year’s event, which promises to be even bigger and better.
